Why the original photo matters, how big you can go, and the one mistake that ruins most large prints.
Modern phones take photos that print beautifully — as long as you send the original file.
Send the original, not a forwarded copy
WhatsApp and social media shrink photos to save data. A picture that looks fine on your screen may have lost most of its detail. Upload the photo straight from your gallery, or share it as a document so it is not compressed.
How big can I print?
- Up to 8 × 12 in — almost any recent phone photo
- 12 × 18 in to 16 × 20 in — a sharp, well-lit photo taken in good light
- 20 × 30 in and larger — the original from a good phone or camera, taken in daylight
Avoid zoom and screenshots
Digital zoom and screenshots throw detail away. Crop later instead, or let us crop it for the frame.
Not sure? Upload it anyway — our team checks every photo and tells you before printing if it will look soft.
